The Rios Group, Inc. (TRG) is currently providing SUE services for Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro) on the MetroRapid Expo and Pleasant Valley 30%-100% Design/PS&E project, working under prime provider Huit Zollars. This project is part of the MetroRapid Program and includes two Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes through some of Austin’s densest corridors. The Expo Center BRT Project consists of an approximately 12-mile BRT route along the Trinity Street, San Jacinto Blvd., Manor Road, and Loyola Lane corridors and includes a total of 23 station pairs. The Pleasant Valley BRT Project consists of an approximately 14-mile BRT route along the E. William Cannon Drive, Pleasant Valley Road, and Airport Blvd corridors and includes a total of 19 station pairs. TRG is working to complete a Quality Level B SUE investigation at all 42 station pairs and is working with the team to complete Quality Level A field investigations in areas of high utility impact.
