The Rios Group, Inc. provided Quality Level B and A Subsurface Utility Engineering to support the General Contractor and project design team for the Waterline Tower in Austin, Texas. TRG completed QLB SUE for the full width of the public ROW along Cesar Chavez Street and Red River Street. Additionally, TRG completed fifty-four (54) QLA SUE test holes within the roadway. During both QLA and QLB field work extensive traffic control measures were required, including road closures for alternating travel directions along Red River Street in the bustling Rainey District in downtown Austin. TRG worked closely with the General Contractor, utility owners, and City of Austin inspectors to ensure adequate traffic control measures were established to provide safe work zones for both the traveling public and TRG employees.
