Project Overview
The Rios Group provided Subsurface Utility Engineering services for the 2018 Bond Transportation Planning project for the City of Fort Worth. The project consisted of 25 sites throughout the Fort Worth area. Over 440,000 LF of Quality Level QLC/D SUE was performed on these 25 different project sites to assist the City of Fort Worth in formulating a list of recommended transportation projects for the 2018 Bond Program. QLD is utility information derived from existing records and QLC is information obtained by surveying visible above-ground utility features. Acquiring accurate utility data is vital to the success of a design project.

Trinity River Vision
View ProjectTRG is responsible for performing SUE and UC services for all utilities in the footprint of this project. The Trinity River Vision Master Plan encompasses 88 miles of the Trinity River and its greenbelts and tributaries throughout the Fort Worth area. The project considers environmental quality, conservation, recreation facilities, trail developments, reforestation, beautification, and linkage to neighborhoods, downtown, and other special districts. The project utilized TRG’s expertise in performing Quality Level A and B SUE and Utility Coordination to assist with the design and construction of three bridges spanning the new bypass channel and relocation of municipal and franchise utilities.
