Project Overview
TRG performed SUE services for the proposed siding improvements along the UP Railroad Glidden Subdivision for the Kingsbury Siding project located east of Kingsbury, Texas. The work limits were within the existing ROW and proposed ROW acquisition areas between MP 161.29 to MP 164.68 (approximately 3.4 miles). Mr. Anderson managed all aspects of the scope of work which included multiple items. TRG designated 30,000 LF of utilities crossing the UPRR track alignment within the project limits which included storm drains and culverts. TRG also designated utilities running parallel to the rail within the railroad ROW including UPRR electrical lines, long haul fiber optic cables and UPRR signal lines. TRG provided electronic depths on all lines captured via QLB field investigation in intervals no greater than every 50 feet. Surveying overhead utility poles and low wire elevation at overhead utility crossings and surveying guy wires located in UPRR ROW was part of the scope. TRG annotated the location of all electric meters that exist on poles that are tied during field investigation and provided rim and flowline elevations as well as pipe diameters at sanitary sewer and storm drain manholes. TRG also excavated 4 QLA SUE test holes at potential utility conflict locations.
