The specific scope of this proposal includes Professional Designating and Vacuum Excavation Services for approximately four (4) pipelines running northeast/southwest, then crossing US 347 and eighteen (18) pipelines running northwest/southeast in front of the OCI plant and parallel to the railroad. TRG crews can expect to encounter other unknown utilities within the project limits and will attempt to mark and identify them accordingly. Field crews will first perform Quality Level B Designating Services to mark and identify all underground utilities using geophysical means. Following the designating efforts, field crews will perform one (1) Quality Level A Test Hole over each utility found during the investigation. Excavations over pipelines will only be attempted with a pipeline representative present. TRG will attempt to obtain a measure-down distance from the ground elevation to the top of the utility, utility material, as well as the size measurement of the utility.
